Hello, I'm Marikeny Sint Jago, and I'm a 23-year-old who loves to travel. I'm currently living in the Netherlands. I just graduated from college, and I was like what am I going to do? For years, I have served as a useful source to those seeking inspiration, help, or advice. I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. I always liked the idea of always traveling and taking pictures. It's just incredible how many places there are to visit and all the food and cultures. I'm just a young girl from the Caribbean finding my way in the traveling world. I haven’t visited many places yet, but I'm planning on it. Not only that, but I also have 2 trips planned for this year, but I like catching flights, so it might be more.

Besides traveling and learning new things, I enjoy eating out, hanging out with friends, doing research, and watching travel blogs. I also enjoy cooking even though I'm not a professional chef. Is that why I named the blog Happyevablog? I like to put a smile on everyone's face! People who know me know I'm kind and always cheerful. I guess I chose the wrong path, I should've been a comedian. I founded Happyevablog with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind, and I have been at it ever since. I started writing about my passions, my thoughts, and curious wanderings about our world.
